Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu announce the launch of the Home Energy Score Pilot program. The Home Energy Score allows a homeowner to compare (or benchmark) her or his home's energy consumption to that of other homes, similar to a vehicle's mile-per-gallon rating.
